This change marks the end of an important chapter, but it does not mean the Angela Nuran story is over. This page brings together the most important Angela Nuran site changes and information, including where to look for remaining shoe styles, who to contact for professional dyeing, and how to follow Angela’s adventures in retirement.

The Angela Nuran Online Store Is Closed

The Angela Nuran store is now closed following Angela’s retirement.

We are deeply grateful to every bride, dancer, retailer, wedding professional, and loyal customer who supported the company over the years. Angela built her brand around the belief that beautiful special-occasion shoes should also feel comfortable enough to wear for hours. That combination of elegance, adjustability, and dance-inspired comfort earned her shoes a devoted following.

Although the online store has closed, customers may still be able to find Angela Nuran styles through select bridal boutiques and specialty footwear retailers.

Professional Dyeing for Angela Nuran Shoes

Dyeing any Angela Nuran style should only be handled by DyeableShoeStore.com.

For assistance, contact Ron or Lisa Davis at 508-653-6063.

Professional dyeing is especially important for delicate bridal fabrics. An experienced dyeing specialist can evaluate the material, explain realistic color expectations, and help reduce the risk of uneven results or permanent damage.

Customers should avoid attempting to dye Angela Nuran shoes at home unless they fully understand the fabric and dyeing process. Bridal shoes are often made with delicate materials that can react unpredictably to moisture, dye, heat, and cleaning products.

What Is Changing on AngelaNuran.com?

AngelaNuran.com is moving in a new direction.

The website will continue to preserve important information for previous customers, including retailer contacts, shoe-care resources, and updates related to the Angela Nuran brand. At the same time, it is becoming a broader lifestyle publication with a strong focus on weddings.

Readers can expect articles about:

  • Wedding planning and bridal style
  • Comfortable footwear and special-occasion fashion
  • Travel, lifestyle, and personal stories
  • Health, wellness, and practical everyday advice
  • Trends, inspiration, and thoughtful guidance for modern celebrations

The goal is to honor Angela’s legacy while creating something useful, welcoming, and relevant for a wider audience.

Her work was always about more than shoes. It was about helping people move through meaningful occasions with comfort, confidence, and style. That spirit will remain part of the website’s future.

What Has Angela Been Doing Since Retirement?

Angela has been enjoying a very different kind of life since leaving the shoe business. She has spent much of her retirement traveling the world aboard the residential ship Villa Vie Odyssey, visiting remarkable destinations and sharing highlights from her journey on social media.

Volunteering in Coron, Philippines

In June 2026, Angela joined fellow travelers for a day of volunteer work at the Coron Animal Shelter in the Philippines. The group helped build bamboo fencing for the shelter’s dogs and cats.

Later that day, Angela was bitten by a street cat near the ship dock. Although she had received preventive rabies vaccinations before beginning her travels, she wisely sought medical care at Coron District Hospital.

With help from friends, the ship’s doctor, and a local medical team, Angela received the recommended rabies booster treatment. Her experience was also a useful reminder that preventive rabies vaccinations provide valuable protection and additional response time, but medical care is still needed after a potential exposure.

A Private Island Escape in Indonesia

Later in June 2026, Angela spent two days with friends on Tenggiling Island in Indonesia’s Anambas Islands.

The group rented all three guest houses and essentially had the island to themselves. Angela described crystal-clear water, colorful coral, tropical fish, sea snakes, geckos, skinks, exotic birds, monkeys, and a friendly orange tabby cat.

Their hosts also served memorable Indonesian meals, making the visit one of those rare travel experiences no one wanted to end.

The photos in the gallery accompanying this post offer a glimpse of the places, people, wildlife, and quiet moments Angela has encountered along the way.

Angela’s “Lost Soles”

Long before Angela retired, she developed a habit of photographing single shoes found in unusual places.

They might appear along the side of a road, caught in a tree, hanging from a power line, or sitting alone somewhere no shoe would normally belong. Angela called them her “Lost Soles.”

The name is a playful reference to both “lost souls” and the soles of shoes, which makes it especially fitting for someone who spent so many years designing footwear.

A few of Angela’s Lost Soles appear in the photo gallery for this post. They are part travel curiosity, part visual joke, and part long-running personal tradition. Once you know to look for them, you may start noticing abandoned shoes in unexpected places too.

Follow Angela’s Adventures

Angela may be retired from the shoe business, but she is certainly not standing still.

Thank you again to everyone who supported Angela Nuran Shoes over the years. We hope this website’s next chapter remains helpful to longtime customers while welcoming new readers interested in weddings, style, travel, and living well.
